2015 Dana Point Concours “postponed”
September 1, 2015 UPDATE
The 2015 concours, previously scheduled for September, will not take place. According to the event website:
The Dana Point Concours Board of Directors has voted to postpone the September 2015 event.
The cause of the postponement is due to a major construction development project of lovely new homes adjacent to the St. Regis in Dana Point. In effect, closing the access road that we use to move entrants cars and people onto and off of the show fields, and golf course at the St Regis Monarch Beach Resort.
Evidently the Board of Directors is unaware of the difference between postpone and cancel. It is doubtful that the “postponed” 2014 and 2015 events will ever be held.

The Dana Point Concours d’Elegance Board of Directors postponed the 2014 Concours. The Concours will return in the later part of September 2015, marking the unofficial closing of the concours season.
The Concours Board is preparing projects to launch during the 2015 Concours. It will maximize the experience for exhibitors, spectators and sponsors, and continue its contributions to local charities.
The Dana Point Concours d’Elegance will continue its 32-year tradition in 2015 with a program designed to showcase some of the most spectacular cars and motorcycles of the region, while raising funds for the Concours selected local charity, Vocational Visions.
